401kPortal® Overview
401kPortal® customers fall into two categories: institutional clients (who have
entered an agreement with McKay Hochman and can create unlimited numbers of
documents) and occasional users (e.g., professional firms that are creating
documents on a pay-per-plan basis). Since institutional clients receive
specific training in the system's use, you are probably an occasional user
looking for help in getting started. Here's what we have to offer.
Documents Available on the 401kPortal®
This will describe the different types of plans you can create through the 401kPortal®
Getting
Started Instructions. This
explanation will tell you how to establish an account and to create a user name
and password. Once you've completed these steps, you can access the Portal's significant Help features to learn more. Note: Creating an account
doesn't cost anything.
Online
Classes. Newkirk/McKay
Hochman offers free online classes on how to use the 401kPortal®. To register for
a class, email Debbie Liberatore at
dliberat@mhco.com or call her at 973-492-1880. (While the classes are free, you
need to register; you will also need an Internet-connected computer and a phone to conference in for the voice portion of the class.)

Steps PowerPoint Presentation. Click here to start up a Powerpoint® presentation on
how to use the 401kPortal®. This presentation will walk you through all of the
steps required to create a document. You will need Powerpoint or the Powerpoint
Viewer, as well as an audio card and speakers, to use this option. You can
